What Parents are Saying The Camp:

Parents tell us their kids leave the camp saying, ‘That was actually fun!’
Confidence Camp is designed to spark the same joy—without pressure, shame, or overwhelm.

"My Daughter had such a wonderful time this week! Thank you for all of your efforts in making this happen." -KA

"I chose the Responsibility Day camp, pricing was very reasonable and love that it was play based. The kids were offered "unlimited" snacks, we could explore the grounds after camp as well. The location chosen was incredible and my kids had a blast going. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Lisa the counselor about the services offered at Spring Grove and have intentions for my kids to receive yearly services there as needed." -SR

Unlike loud, chaotic camps, Confidence Camp is calm, connected, and thoughtfully guided.

Every moment is backed by real therapeutic tools—

🧘‍♀️ Soothing movement for emotional regulation
🎨 Creative play for self-expression
🤝 Gentle group games to build real connection

To your child, it just feels like fun in the fresh air—with warm, watchful adults gently helping them practice bravery, calm, and connection.

They’ll leave camp feeling steady, proud, and more confident in who they are.

Lisa Kerr - Confidence Camp Therapist

Hi, I’m Lisa — Licensed Therapist, Neurodiversity Specialist, and Trauma-Informed Clinician.

With a background in play therapy, school counseling, private practice, and leadership, I bring a holistic and deeply informed approach to supporting children and families. I specialize in neurodiversity and trauma, creating spaces where kids feel safe, capable, and empowered.

At Confidence Camp, my focus is helping kids build emotional resilience in ways that are developmentally appropriate, fun, and affirming. Every child has unique strengths, and I use their natural abilities to help them feel seen, confident, and proud—whether they're navigating new experiences, learning to manage big emotions, or finding their place in a group.

My work blends education, creativity, and compassionate guidance to support emotional growth and self-understanding. I believe that when children feel truly understood, they become more confident in who they are and how they relate to the world around them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:  What if my child is shy or anxious in new settings?

A: That’s exactly who this camp is for. Our therapists are experienced in helping children warm up at their own pace, using gentle guidance, sensory tools, and trust-building techniques. We meet kids where they are — no pressure, just support.

Q: What if my child has a diagnosis (ADHD, autism, SPD)? Will they fit in?
A: Absolutely. We welcome neurodivergent children and create an inclusive space with small groups, visual supports, and calming activities. Our team has years of experience helping kids with ADHD, autism, and sensory sensitivities thrive in group settings.

Q: Do I need to stay during camp?
A: Nope! Parents drop off and pick up at the designated time. You'll receive a daily update and can relax knowing your child is in caring, capable hands.

Q: What about the heat?

A: We get it! Summer in Texas can be intense. The camp runs early in the morning and rotates between shaded outdoor zones. Water, cooling towels, and shaded rest breaks are built into every day to keep kids safe and comfortable.
