Millie Taylor

LMSW Associate

"Each individual is an expert of their own experiences. Therapy is a journey of pairing your expertise with mine as we find ways to make this grand journey of life more joyful and meaningful."

My Approach

My base belief and understanding that each individual has undeniable and significant worth underlies my approach in all that I do as a therapist. I understand that change and healing are hard, take time, and require patience. With this, my first goals in therapy are to establish a positive and trusting relationship with which we can embark on this challenging journey of self-growth and discovery together. In this process and throughout our time together, I hope to learn and uncover your strengths and pains, triumphs and disappointments and all of your beautiful uniqueness using compassion, curiosity, the talents you already have, and new skills too. It is my belief that shame is a master of pain and undesired behaviors. Thus, I use a trauma informed approach in all that I do to help root out shame and normalize our human experience. “
