Haylie Merchen

LMSW Associate, CSTS

Certified Shame Informed Specialist

Together let's create a space for growth, learning, and healing—where you're seen, heard, and supported. You’re not alone; I’m here every step of the way. I look forward to working with you!

My Approach

My goal is to create a compassionate and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. I believe that healing and growth begin with a strong therapeutic relationship—one built on trust, safety, and collaboration. My approach is centered on equipping you with the skills and tools needed to navigate life’s stressors, manage emotions, and build resilience. Whether you're facing overwhelming emotions, struggling with self-doubt, or navigating difficult life transitions, I am here to support you in finding clarity and strength.

As a Certified Shame-Informed Treatment Specialist, I understand how deeply shame can impact self-worth, relationships, and mental well-being. Shame can make us feel stuck, unworthy, or disconnected, but it doesn’t have to define our lives. My work focuses on fostering self-compassion, strength, and empowerment, helping you break free from negative cycles and embrace your inherent value. Together, we will work to reframe unhelpful patterns of thinking, build healthier coping strategies, and cultivate a sense of resilience and self-acceptance.
